EZVIZ HB8 Lite 4G: 2K+ pan-tilt battery security camera that switches between Wi-Fi and 4G (nano SIM needed), with AOV 2.0, auto tracking and IP65.

Suitable uses

Suitable for monitoring a location without fixed Wi-Fi where compatible mobile coverage is available. Battery power helps with placement; arrange a suitable SIM, data plan and charging routine.

Key features

Wi-Fi with automatic 4G backup: It connects to 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi 6 and switches to 4G when Wi-Fi is weak or offline. 4G needs a nano SIM with an active data plan, which is not included.
340° pan with auto tracking: The lens pans 340° and tilts 80°, and follows a person once they enter the detection zone. AI human and vehicle detection cuts down alerts from leaves or insects.
AOV 2.0 all-day recording: Always-On Video mode builds a time-lapse of quiet periods (down to 1-second intervals) and switches to normal video when a person appears. The 5,200 mAh battery can be topped up with an EZVIZ Type-C solar panel, sold separately.

This is Hong Kong licensed stock, covered by the local distributor's warranty; the period is shown on the warranty card in the box. Brand new. Kwun Tong collection is by appointment; confirm availability and a collection time before travelling. No demonstrations or product trials are provided.

FAQ

Do I need a SIM card if I have Wi-Fi?

No, it works on 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi alone; a nano SIM with a data plan is only needed for the 4G backup. EZVIZ does not publish a Hong Kong carrier list, so check the bands above with your provider.

When it arrives: first setup and checks

Power up in an accessible position, charging battery models as instructed, and check package contents. Use the exact model's manufacturer instructions and app prompts to add it. Do not substitute another version's pairing or reset procedure.
For 4G, check SIM activation, a suitable data plan and on-site signal. On dual-connection models, configure the 4G or Wi-Fi mode you intend to use.
Configure account/device security and viewing permissions using this model’s supported settings. Check date, time, notifications and framing.
Enable a supported card, NVR/hub or cloud recording method. Test recording, playback and storage location before permanent mounting. Live view does not mean recording is active. Battery models do not all support continuous recording.
