Samsung S95D 77-inch OLED 4K
The 77-inch S95D combines self-emissive OLED pixels, NQ4 AI Gen2 processing and OLED HDR Pro with OLED Glare Free. It suits a large film or gaming setup when seating, light sources and delivery access have been planned. The manufacturer reference identifies OLED; it is not proof of a particular QD-OLED or WOLED emitter in every regional version.

Motion and source compatibility
The UK 77 reference labels refresh 100Hz (up to 144Hz), accepting 4K144 on all four HDMI inputs, with VRR, ALLM, HGiG and FreeSync Premium Pro. The highest rate requires a compatible PC, output, cable and settings. Console 120Hz operation does not require 144Hz and game performance still depends on the source; no measured lag result is claimed.
Picture processing, reflections and sound
NQ4 AI Gen2 supplies picture processing and 4K AI Upscaling; a lower-resolution source does not become native 4K detail. The reference documents HDR10+ Adaptive/Gaming and OLED HDR Pro. OLED Glare Free reduces reflections but does not eliminate every light reflection. Avoid a bright lamp directly opposite the screen, and use the model’s image-care settings appropriately.
70W 4.2.2-channel audio, Dolby Atmos and OTS+ are listed, alongside Q-Symphony, Active Voice Amplifier Pro and Adaptive Sound Pro. A compatible Samsung Sound Bar is a separate purchase; suitable content is required for Atmos.
Wired One Connect
The reference uses One Connect (Y24 4K), not Wireless One Connect. It lists four HDMI, three USB-A and one USB-C; the USB-C entry alone does not establish a display input. Plan the box ventilation, model-specific cable route, socket access and mounting accessories.

These reference measurements describe the chassis and stand, not theoretical visible-screen dimensions. Check the cabinet width, supported stand positions, wall structure and bracket load rating. A narrow stand setting does not make a cabinet narrower than the television automatically suitable.

Apps, AI functions, language support and connected-device features vary by regional model and service region; some require a Samsung Account, internet access, compatible devices or subscriptions. Confirm the services you use rather than assuming an overseas app list or tuner provides Hong Kong reception.

Measure the actual cabinet, chassis and stand footprint, leaving space for cables and a Sound Bar. Check packed dimensions, doorway and lift access for delivery. S95D questions
Is 144Hz needed for console 120Hz?
No. Match the console’s supported 120Hz output, game, cable and settings. The extra PC input capability is not a console requirement.
Is every regional S95D QD-OLED?
The reviewed table establishes OLED, not the supplied emitter subtype. Confirm the full regional model rather than inferring it from size or the series name.
Does One Connect remove all cables?
No. This is a wired One Connect system with power and connection-cable planning still required.
