EZVIZ CB2 4G: palm-sized 2K indoor battery security camera on 4G LTE (nano SIM needed), with AOV time-lapse, magnetic base and 2,000 mAh battery.
Suitable uses
Suitable for an indoor location without fixed Wi-Fi where compatible mobile coverage is available. Battery power helps with placement; arrange a suitable SIM, data plan and charging routine.
Key features
- 4G only, for places without Wi-Fi: The camera works only with a nano SIM and data plan; it does not connect to Wi-Fi. The SIM card is not included.
- AOV and time-lapse button: Always-On Video mode wakes the camera at set intervals to make continuous time-lapse footage, and a physical button starts a time-lapse clip. EZVIZ says AOV extends human detection to 12–20 m, versus 8 m for its PIR sensor.
- Palm-sized with magnetic base: It stands on a flat surface, snaps onto metal with the magnetic base or can be screw-mounted, and supports image flipping for ceiling mounting.

Warranty and delivery
This is Hong Kong licensed stock, covered by the local distributor's warranty; the period is shown on the warranty card in the box. Brand new. Kwun Tong collection is by appointment after confirmation; no on-site demonstrations or testing.

Can I use it outdoors?
EZVIZ describes the CB2 4G as an indoor camera and publishes no waterproof rating, so keep it indoors or in a sheltered, dry spot.

When it arrives: first setup and checks
- Power up in an accessible position, charging battery models as instructed, and check package contents. Use the exact model's manufacturer instructions and app prompts to add it. Do not substitute another version's pairing or reset procedure.
- For 4G, check SIM activation, a suitable data plan and on-site signal. On dual-connection models, configure the 4G or Wi-Fi mode you intend to use.
- Configure account/device security and viewing permissions using this model’s supported settings. Check date, time, notifications and framing.
- Enable a supported card, NVR/hub or cloud recording method. Test recording, playback and storage location before permanent mounting. Live view does not mean recording is active. Battery models do not all support continuous recording.
