The Fujifilm Instax Mini Evo Cinema is not a restyled Mini Evo — it adds a whole third leg: video. Shoot stills, shoot clips, print both from one body, and let a printed photo carry a QR code that plays back a 15-second clip. The body takes its cues from an 8mm movie camera, in black with hints of green.
Key features
Gen Dial: from the 1930s to the 2020s
The Gen Dial offers ten decade-inspired looks spanning the 1930s to the 2020s, and the Degree Control dial adds ten intensity levels for each — a hundred possible treatments. Want sixties grain or nineties colour on the same scene? Just turn the dial.
It shoots video, and prints it
Flip between Cine and Still modes. Each clip runs up to 15 seconds and clips can be stitched together in-camera. When you print, the photo can carry a QR code — scan it with a phone and the clip plays back, so one print holds both the still and the motion.
Frame Switch: era frames
Photos and videos can take on frames matched to the chosen era, so the look holds together instead of being just a filter.
Hybrid: choose before you print
Like the rest of the Evo family, review on the 1.5-inch screen and print only the keepers. Prints on instax mini film at 318 dpi.
Works as a phone printer
Connect over Bluetooth 5.4 or Wi-Fi through the app and print photos straight from your library.
Cinema or the original Mini Evo?
Both are hybrids, both use instax mini film, and both print from a phone. The difference: the original Mini Evo concentrates on stills, with 10 lens × 10 film effects for 100 combinations. The Cinema adds video capture and QR-code video prints, and swaps the effect system for the era-based Gen Dial. If you only shoot stills, the original is plenty; if you want short clips you can print, you want the Cinema. Compare with the Instax Mini Evo.

FAQ
Is the Mini Evo Cinema the same camera as the Mini Evo?
No. The Cinema is a separate model that adds video capture and QR-code video prints, and uses the Gen Dial era effects instead of the 100 lens/film combinations. Both use instax mini film.
How does the QR code on the print work?
When printing, the matching clip can be encoded as a QR code on the photo — scan it with a phone to play the clip.
Can it print phone photos?
Yes, over Bluetooth or Wi-Fi through the app.
Which film does it use?
instax mini film, shared with the mini-series cameras. Sold separately.
How does the warranty work?
10-day exchange for defects (non-man-made) — see our FAQ.
