Before You Buy: Two Things to Be Clear About

One: this is microphones only — no speaker. You need a mixer, PA speaker or amplifier with a 6.35mm input. If you want something that plugs in and sings straight away with its own speaker, see the Pure Acoustics SingBar (same HK$780, speaker and two mics together).

Two: a note on frequency use. This system operates on 498–599 MHz. Radio frequency use in Hong Kong is regulated under the Telecommunications Ordinance, and the licence-exempt bands the Office of the Communications Authority (OFCA) lists for general-purpose wireless microphones do not include this range. We suggest using it for private, indoor occasions; if you need wireless microphones for a public or commercial event, check licensing and equipment requirements with OFCA first. We are also happy to ask our supplier about type-approval status for this model — just WhatsApp us.

Does this include a speaker?

Does the receiver run on mains or an internal battery?

The receiver takes USB (DC 5V) power. Whether it must stay connected or holds a charge is best confirmed against the actual unit and its manual — if you want certainty before ordering, WhatsApp us and we'll open one and check.

What batteries do the mics take?

2 × AA per microphone, so 4 in total. Whether they are supplied in the box is worth asking us. For longer events, keep spares.

How far does it transmit?

Up to about 50 metres. Real range depends on walls in between and on the local wireless environment.

How many channels, and how do I change them?

36 selectable channels. If you get noise or dropouts, step through the channels to move away from the interference.

Can I connect it to a soundbar?
