The Yaber L2 Plus combines a native 1080p picture with dual 8W JBL speakers and a rotating stand, making it a useful choice for a bedroom or living room that becomes a cinema after dark. Its Linux streaming system keeps supported apps on the projector, while autofocus and automatic keystone correction reduce setup work when you change its position.
Plan a 100-inch picture before choosing the shelf
The Hong Kong distributor and Yaber specify a 1.38:1 throw ratio. At 16:9, an 80-inch picture calculates to about 2.44m from lens to screen; 100 inches needs about 3.06m and 120 inches about 3.67m. These are mathematical estimates, not measurements. Add room for the projector and cables, and use the throw-distance and placement guide to check your layout.
The stand adjusts the direction of projection; it is not an active stabiliser or a guarantee against tipping. Use a level, firm surface, aim towards the centre of the picture and leave the vents unobstructed. Autofocus, keystone correction, screen alignment and obstacle avoidance can assist setup, but digital adjustments may shrink the usable image. A clear, flat surface still matters.
Elechid and Basco list 700 ANSI lumens for the Hong Kong model. Yaber's global model table instead lists 460 ISO lumens. The different units should not be converted or treated as an independent brightness test. Confirm the rating on the supplied Hong Kong documentation if brightness is central to your choice. For film contrast, reduce room lighting and choose a realistic size within the listed 40–150-inch range.
Linux streaming and JBL audio
The Hong Kong listing names Netflix and YouTube on a Linux system; Yaber also describes licensed Netflix and Prime Video support. Check your particular service against the supplied firmware and Hong Kong account availability. This system should not be assumed to have Google TV's full app catalogue. Internet access and subscriptions remain separate.
HDMI connects a compatible console, computer or streaming player when you need another service. Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth provide network and audio options. Phone mirroring has separate compatibility and copyright limits: protected content may show a black screen even while menus mirror correctly. Read the phone-casting black-screen troubleshooting guide for suitable playback routes.
The dual JBL speakers with Dolby Audio provide built-in stereo, convenient when you want fewer separate devices. They do not establish a bundled subwoofer. Plan a mains-powered setup; carrying the projector between rooms is not evidence of battery operation. For screen material and room lighting, see the white-wall, ALR and CLR screen guide.

Frequently asked questions
Is this a native 4K projector?
No. Listed 4K decoding accepts supported source content; the displayed picture is native 1080p.
Does the stand remove the need for throw distance?
No. It changes the angle, not the optical throw ratio. A 100-inch image still requires roughly the calculated 3.06m lens-to-screen distance.
Is this the 360° Google TV L2?
No. This is the L2 Plus with a Linux smart system. Do not transfer the separate L2 model’s Google TV or 360° stand specifications to it.
