The Yaber U12 is a native 1080p home projector for users who want Netflix on the projector and a stand that can change the viewing angle. Its rotating gimbal and carry handle help when moving a movie-night setup between rooms, while Dolby Audio supports the soundtrack. The Hong Kong listing describes a Linux system with licensed Netflix, rather than Google TV.
A flexible stand still needs a planned position
The gimbal lets you aim at a suitable wall, screen or ceiling from a stable surface. The exact rotation angle is not specified in the Hong Kong listing, so do not assume the angle of another Yaber model. Yaber describes autofocus and automatic keystone correction for the U12. These assist alignment after repositioning but cannot remove the need for adequate optical distance.
A verified Hong Kong throw ratio has not been established from the cited product pages. Before ordering for a particular 80- or 100-inch position, confirm the required lens-to-surface distance against the supplied manual and your room measurements. The throw-distance and placement guide explains what to measure; avoid assuming that a bedside shelf will produce your intended size.
Elechid and Basco list 700 ANSI lumens, while Yaber's global page lists 450 ISO lumens. Keep these as separate published references, not equivalent measurements. Confirm the supplied Hong Kong rating when comparing models. Draw curtains and reduce light falling on the image for better film contrast; no listed lumen figure guarantees a clear picture in every room.
Linux Netflix, audio and everyday care
Licensed Netflix on the Linux system provides a direct streaming route, with an internet connection and subscription required. Check other services against the supplied firmware: a Linux smart projector does not automatically offer the full Google TV app catalogue. For services outside that selection, confirm a compatible HDMI streaming-player connection on the supplied unit before buying accessories.
Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are listed, but their exact generations are not confirmed in the Hong Kong original. Wireless screen mirroring and direct app playback are different paths. Protected phone video may turn black while the phone interface remains visible; use a supported app or compatible streaming device and consult the phone-casting black-screen troubleshooting guide.
The sealed optical engine helps limit dust entering the optical assembly. It does not make the whole projector waterproof, eliminate cleaning or guarantee permanent freedom from dust marks. Keep vents clear and follow the manual's care instructions. Plan access to power when moving the unit; a carry handle alone does not establish battery operation. A smooth projection surface also matters, as explained in the white-wall, ALR and CLR screen guide.

Frequently asked questions
Is the U12 a Google TV projector?
The Hong Kong U12 is listed with Linux and licensed Netflix. Do not assume Google TV or unrestricted installation of Android apps.
Can I use it outdoors?
Plan a dry location, a stable surface and suitable power, and watch after dark. The sealed optical engine is not proof of rain resistance.
