Is 4K support the same as native 4K?

No. Native resolution describes the projected pixel grid; a higher-resolution input can be accepted and scaled down. For example, Kodak Luma 350 is native 854 × 480. Check the particular model's displayed resolution and technology, not just “4K compatible” in a listing.

How should I compare brightness?

Keep ANSI, ISO and unqualified lumen claims distinct. Check the stated measurement method, picture mode and model edition; do not use a fixed ANSI-to-ISO conversion. Increasing image size spreads light over a larger area. Neither a laser light source nor a large advertised lumen figure guarantees good daytime contrast.

How far away for 100 inches?

A 100-inch 16:9 image is about 2.21 m wide. Multiply that width by the verified throw ratio: at 1.2:1 the calculated lens-to-screen distance is about 2.66 m. Allow for the body, plugs and ventilation, and check the exact installation chart. Short-throw and ultra-short-throw models need their own diagrams.

Can I use Netflix, myTV SUPER or phone casting?

Check the exact supplied unit's supported apps, Hong Kong service availability and account requirements. Google TV, Android, AirPlay and Google Cast are not interchangeable guarantees. A supported projector app is different from phone mirroring; protected content may restrict casting or HDMI playback.

Do I need a projector screen?

A smooth, neutral wall can be a starting point, but its texture, colour and surrounding light affect the picture. ALR and CLR screens have directional requirements: match the screen to the projector's throw type and placement. Check the screen guide before choosing an accessory.

What warranty applies?

Check compatibility and cabinet space first

NexiGo describes projector-triggered operation for the tray. Confirm the supported projector, USB/power-control behaviour and supplied cable arrangement. Allow room for the full travel, cable slack and ventilation; keep the moving path clear.

Distance and safety

Use the projector's exact distance-and-height diagram, including case-to-wall gap, cabinet depth and screen height. A sliding tray does not remove those constraints. For wall mounting or heavy equipment, have a qualified installer assess the fixing surface and use the specified hardware. Confirm compatibility before assuming power synchronisation will work with a different projector.
