The 65-inch QN87D combines a quantum-dot LCD screen, Quantum Mini LED backlighting and NQ4 AI Gen2 processing. Motion and source compatibility
The Thai reference labels refresh 100Hz with Motion Xcelerator 120Hz, and explicitly documents 4K120 on HDMI1/2/3/4. VRR, ALLM, FreeSync Premium Pro and HGiG are listed. Console 120Hz requires a supported game, source output, cable and settings, not 144Hz. Different markets’ 100/120 labels do not independently establish identical panel hardware.
HDR processing and 60W sound
Quantum Matrix Technology controls the Mini LED backlight. Neo Quantum HDR, HDR10+ Adaptive/Gaming, 4K AI Upscaling and Auto HDR Remastering are documented; processing does not make every SDR source native HDR or establish a measured zone count.
The exact Thai table lists 60W 2.2.2-channel sound, Dolby Atmos, OTS, Active Voice Amplifier Pro, Adaptive Sound Pro and Q-Symphony. Choose optional external audio for the room and listening needs, without promising a soundbar is unnecessary. Q-Symphony needs a separately purchased compatible Samsung Sound Bar.

Yes. Samsung’s QA65QN87DAKXXT reference documents 4K120 input on all four HDMI inputs. Use a compatible console or device, supported game, suitable cable and the required device and TV settings. Input support does not guarantee every game runs at 120fps.
Are streaming apps identical across regions?
No. Confirm the services and language you use for the complete supplied regional model. Internet, accounts, compatible devices and subscriptions may be required.
