For spots with sunlight but no socket nearby, the Argus Solar has a solar panel built into its top, so there is no separate panel or cable to mount. It records 5MP video, connects over dual-band Wi-Fi 6 and stores clips on a microSD card.

- Solar panel built in: Reolink SolarEase keeps the 6500mAh battery topped up; Reolink says as little as one hour of sunlight a day keeps it running, and a full charge lasts up to 150 days (actual life varies with settings and use).
- Spotlight, siren and two-way audio: When a person, vehicle or animal is detected, the camera can switch on its spotlights and siren, and you can talk to visitors through the app.

Do I need to buy a separate solar panel?
No. Reolink says the solar panel is built into the camera, so no extra panel is needed. It also has a USB-C port for charging.
