SpotCam Solo Eco wire-free IP camera with built-in solar panel and four 18650 cells: 2.5K video, 122° view, colour night vision, IP66, 7-day event cloud.
Suitable uses
Suitable for a garden, entrance or outdoor viewpoint where reducing fixed power wiring helps placement. Check Wi-Fi coverage, the intended recording mode and charging arrangements; solar accessories are included only where listed for this version.
Key features
- Solar panel built in: The panel on top charges the four 18650 lithium cells, so no separate solar kit is needed. SpotCam notes that without enough sunlight you may still need to charge it from a power supply.
- Colour night vision: Six infrared LEDs and two white lights give black-and-white or colour footage after dark, with SpotCam quoting up to 8 m of night viewing distance.
- Cloud and microSD recording: SpotCam's basic plan keeps 7 days of event clips in the cloud, and you can add a microSD card of up to 256 GB. A PIR sensor with detection zones helps cut unwanted alerts.

This is Hong Kong licensed stock, covered by the local distributor's warranty; the period is shown on the warranty card in the box. Brand new. Stock can be viewed at our Kwun Tong showroom by appointment.

Will it run on solar power alone?
It depends on the site. SpotCam says that if the camera doesn't get enough sunlight, it may still need charging from an external power supply.
