Hisense 55-inch UR8S pairs RGB Mini LED backlighting with a 180Hz panel and Hi-View AI Engine RGB. The Hong Kong sheet lists a 50W speaker system including a subwoofer. It is an LCD television, not a self-emissive MicroLED display.
RGB picture and HDR
Hisense’s Hong Kong sheet lists HDR10, HDR10+, Dolby Vision and HLG; the product page also promotes Dolby Vision IQ. The 55-inch brightness figures are 500 nits typical and up to 2,500 nits peak, as stated by the manufacturer. They are not Elechid test results and should not be transferred from the brighter 65- or 75-inch versions. Position the screen away from direct window reflections where practical.
180Hz panel, separate motion figure
The panel specification is 180Hz; the separate smooth-motion figure of 330 is not native 330Hz or a promise of 4K 330Hz input. VRR, ALLM and FreeSync Premium Pro are listed. Four HDMI 2.1 inputs and HDMI 3 eARC provide useful connection options, but the exact timing chart still determines which source, resolution and refresh combinations are available.
Audio and smart platform
The sheet specifies two 10W main speakers, two 5W side speakers and a 20W subwoofer, totalling 50W. This is useful built-in audio provision, not a guarantee that every room needs no Sound Bar. The current Hong Kong index says Google TV while the detailed sheet says VIDAA; confirm the supplied unit’s platform and required apps before ordering. The same sources differ between Wi-Fi 6 and 6E.

Room fit and installation planning
For this 55-inch model, measure the cabinet width and depth, stand footprint, seating position and delivery route. Screen diagonal is not the chassis, stand or carton dimension. Check cable clearance, ventilation, wall construction and the exact VESA/screw specification before wall mounting. If you use a Sound Bar, allow space without obscuring the picture or remote sensor.

Is it self-emissive?
No. RGB Mini LED describes the backlight; an LCD panel forms the image. It is not OLED or MicroLED.
Does 330 mean 4K 330Hz gaming?
No. The Hong Kong sheet lists a 180Hz panel. Treat motion-processing figures separately from source input timings.
