It connects through a small USB-C 2.4 GHz dongle, which ASUS says gives lower latency than Bluetooth and up to 25 m of range, and a USB-A adapter is included for older PCs and PS4. Inside are 40 mm ASUS Essence drivers in airtight chambers, with virtual 7.1 on Windows. The boom mic is Discord and TeamSpeak certified, the headset weighs 295 g, and one charge lasts up to 15 hours.

2.4 GHz USB-C dongle instead of Bluetooth
The headset pairs with its own USB-C dongle using a dual-antenna 2.4 GHz link. ASUS quotes up to 25 m of coverage and lower latency and better stability than Bluetooth headsets. For USB-A ports, such as older PCs and PS4, use the included USB-C to USB-A adapter.
40 mm Essence drivers and virtual 7.1
40 mm ASUS Essence drivers sit in airtight chambers for fuller bass. Virtual 7.1 surround is available on Windows through Windows Sonic, and Armoury Crate lets you adjust audio settings, profiles and check battery level.
Certified mic and on-earcup controls
The unidirectional analogue boom mic is certified by Discord and TeamSpeak. The earcup carries a volume wheel, mic mute button, power button, status light and the USB-C charging port, so you can adjust things without leaving the game.
Light enough for long sessions
At 295 g with a suspension headband and fabric strap, it spreads pressure across the top of the head. Battery life is up to 15 hours of continuous play, which ASUS equates to about eight days at two hours a day.

Does it work with Xbox?
Xbox is not on ASUS's supported platform list. The headset connects only through its 2.4 GHz USB dongle, with no Bluetooth or 3.5 mm input listed.
Can I use it with my phone?
Yes, on supported models: plug the USB-C dongle into the phone or tablet. ASUS keeps the list of supported phones on its support site, so check your model first.
How long does the battery last and how is it charged?
