If you own a current console, the Q7S is where Hisense's Hong Kong range starts taking that seriously. Hisense specifies a native 144Hz panel here — not a game mode built on top of a 60Hz screen — along with variable refresh rate, an on-screen Game Bar and two HDMI 2.1 inputs. The quantum dot panel and a built-in subwoofer round it out into a set that handles films and sport as competently as it handles gameplay.
Key features
A native 144Hz panel, stated as such
Hisense publishes the Q7S panel as native 144Hz, which is the specification that determines whether a PC or console can actually output high frame rates to it. Variable refresh rate is supported, so frame pacing stays clean when a game drops below its target, and Game Mode PRO reduces input lag for competitive play. A Game Bar overlay lets you check refresh rate and mode without leaving the game.
Two HDMI 2.1 inputs out of four
The Q7S is specified with four HDMI inputs, two of them HDMI 2.1 — enough bandwidth for 4K high-frame-rate sources on the fast ports while a set-top box, disc player or streaming stick occupies the others. Two USB ports are provided, one USB 3.0 and one USB 2.0.
Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos and a built-in subwoofer
HDR support covers Dolby Vision, HDR10+ and HDR10, so the three formats you are likely to meet across streaming and disc are all handled. Audio is where the Q7S separates itself from the Q6S: Hisense fits a built-in subwoofer alongside the main drivers and adds Hi-Concerto, which lets a compatible Hisense soundbar play in concert with the television's own speakers rather than replacing them.
AI picture processing and Filmmaker Mode
Hisense's processing set here includes AI Picture, AI Smooth Motion, an AI 4K Upscaler for lower-resolution sources and an AI Light Sensor that adapts the image to ambient light. Filmmaker Mode is included for viewers who would rather switch the processing off and watch content as graded. The Infinity Vision chassis keeps the bezel narrow, which matters at this size.

Who it's for
- PS5, Xbox Series X or gaming PC owners who want the display to keep up with what the hardware outputs.
- Viewers who want better built-in sound than a thin mid-range set gives, without adding a soundbar straight away.
- Households running several sources at once, where four inputs and two fast ports are genuinely useful.
- Not for anyone whose priority is HDR punch in a bright room. The Q7S uses a direct-lit quantum dot panel, not Mini LED with local dimming; the U7SE is the model to look at for that.
Warranty and delivery
This is Hong Kong licensed stock carrying the manufacturer's Hong Kong warranty. The exact warranty term is stated on the warranty card supplied with the set. Viewing is by appointment at our Kwun Tong showroom.
Delivery and installation are available as paid services and are not included in the product price. For a 65-inch set, delivery with tabletop installation is HK$300, or delivery with wall mounting is HK$600 with the bracket included. Collection at our Kwun Tong shop is free. Walk-up buildings without a lift add HK$100 per floor, with no cap. Discovery Bay adds HK$500. Orders for Cheung Chau and Lamma are delivered to the Central pier for self-collection, with no installation.
Frequently asked questions
Is the 144Hz figure the panel itself or a processing mode?
It is the panel. Hisense specifies the Q7S as native 144Hz, which is why variable refresh rate and Game Mode PRO are meaningful on this model. That is the substantive difference from the Q6S further down the range, which is a 60Hz panel.
Which HDMI ports should I use for a console?
Use one of the two HDMI 2.1 inputs. Those carry the bandwidth needed for 4K at high frame rates with VRR; the remaining inputs are fine for a set-top box, disc player or streaming stick. The Game Bar overlay will confirm what the television is receiving.
Do I still need a soundbar?
Less urgently than with most sets at this size, because the Q7S has a built-in subwoofer rather than relying only on small full-range drivers. If you do add one, Hi-Concerto lets a compatible Hisense soundbar work together with the television's speakers instead of switching them off.
