Mini LED is the step that changes what a television can do with HDR, and the U7SE is where Hisense brings it into the 65-inch part of its Hong Kong range. Far smaller backlight LEDs allow finer control of where light lands on the panel, producing highlights that stay bright while the rest of the frame stays dark. Hisense pairs that with a native 144Hz panel, AMD FreeSync Premium and an audio system tuned by Devialet with a built-in subwoofer.

Hi-QLED Mini LED backlight
The U7SE combines Hisense's Hi-QLED quantum dot layer with a Mini LED backlight. Because the LEDs are physically much smaller than those in a conventional direct-lit set, the television drives bright and dark parts of the same image far more independently — most obvious on HDR film, night sport and anything with specular highlights. Hisense's Total HDR Solution covers Dolby Vision, with the Hi-View AI Engine handling processing.
Native 144Hz with AMD FreeSync Premium
Hisense specifies a native 144Hz game mode for the U7SE together with AMD FreeSync Premium certification, which requires the panel to support both high refresh and low-framerate compensation. For a PC or current console this means tear-free gameplay that stays smooth when frame rates fluctuate. A Game Bar overlay shows refresh rate and mode without interrupting play.
Audio tuned by Devialet, with a real subwoofer
The U7SE carries a built-in subwoofer and an audio system tuned with Devialet, the French audio firm, alongside Dolby Atmos decoding and AI Sound processing. Hi-Concerto lets a compatible Hisense soundbar play together with the television's own drivers rather than replacing them. This is more capable than the thin two-channel arrangements common at 65 inches.
AI picture tools and HomeOS VIDAA
Processing includes an AI HDR Upscaler and AI 4K Upscaler for lower-quality sources, AI Picture, an AI RGB Light Sensor that reads ambient light colour as well as level, AI Scenario and AI Sports Mode. Filmmaker Mode is there when you would rather the processing stood down. The platform is HomeOS VIDAA, with hands-free voice control, Bluetooth 5.3 and AirPlay 2.

Warranty and delivery
This is Hong Kong licensed stock carrying the manufacturer's Hong Kong warranty. The exact warranty term is stated on the warranty card supplied with the set. Viewing is by appointment at our Kwun Tong showroom.
Delivery and installation are available as paid services and are not included in the product price. For a 65-inch set, delivery with tabletop installation is HK$300, or delivery with wall mounting is HK$600 with the bracket included. Collection at our Kwun Tong shop is free. Walk-up buildings without a lift add HK$100 per floor, with no cap. Discovery Bay adds HK$500. Orders for Cheung Chau and Lamma are delivered to the Central pier for self-collection, with no installation.
Frequently asked questions
What does Mini LED actually change compared with the Q7S?
The backlight. Mini LED uses far smaller and more numerous LEDs, so the television can light one part of the image brightly while keeping an adjacent part dark. On HDR content that means brighter highlights and deeper shadows in the same frame, which a direct-lit panel such as the Q7S cannot match.
Is the sound good enough to skip a soundbar?
For most rooms, yes. The U7SE has a built-in subwoofer and an audio system tuned with Devialet, which gives it low-end weight that thinner sets simply do not have. If you later add a compatible Hisense soundbar, Hi-Concerto runs it alongside the television's speakers.
