IP67 dust and water protection

IP67 is not a licence for prolonged submersion, swimming or high-pressure hosing, so treat it as accident protection rather than a diving rating.
True Stereophonic 360-degree sound
Inside are two 2-inch full-range drivers and two passive radiators, Class D amplified, working with True Stereophonic to produce 360-degree stereo. Placed in the middle of a picnic blanket or a table, listeners on every side get much the same level and tone. Frequency response is 65–20,000 Hz with a maximum SPL of 90 dB at 1 metre.
Bluetooth 5.3 LE, Auracast and multipoint
Emberton III uses Bluetooth 5.3 LE with a stated free-field range of up to 100 metres, and is both LE Audio-ready and Auracast-ready for sharing. Multipoint keeps a phone and a laptop connected at once, so switching between a call and music does not mean re-pairing. A built-in microphone handles hands-free calls directly on the speaker.

FAQ
Does IP67 mean I can take it swimming?
Not advisable. IP67 is defined as immersion in 1 metre of fresh water for up to 30 minutes, which covers accidental drops and heavy rain rather than deliberate, prolonged submersion. Rinse and dry it after any contact with sea water or pool water to protect the seals.
Can two Emberton III units play the same track together?
Emberton III is Auracast-ready, and Auracast is designed to broadcast one source to multiple receivers. Whether it works in practice depends on whether your phone or player supports Auracast broadcast and on the firmware versions on both sides.
What charger does it need?
It charges over USB-C and the cable is included. A full charge takes about 2 hours, and a 20-minute top-up returns 6 hours of playtime. Any standard USB-C adapter or power bank will do the job.
