Reolink E1 Zoom 4K 8MP indoor PTZ IP camera with 3x optical zoom, 355° pan and 50° tilt, person, pet and crying detection, 2.4/5GHz Wi-Fi and Ethernet.

Suitable uses

Suitable for everyday monitoring in a living room, bedroom, pet activity area or small office. Remote camera movement lets you check different directions; plan nearby power, connectivity and privacy needs.

Selection tip: where it fits and when to compare another model

A useful starting point for a powered indoor living-room or pet-viewing position where you want to adjust direction and zoom. Pan-tilt shows the direction currently selected; it does not record every direction simultaneously. For an outdoor entrance or terrace with planned network cabling and PoE power, compare Duo 3 PoE for a fixed panoramic overview. Do not put this indoor E1 Zoom outdoors, even under an eave. Neither optical zoom nor a wide view guarantees identification at an unchecked distance.

This listing is the E1 Zoom 4K 8MP version. Do not use specifications for an older 5MP E1 Zoom when comparing resolution or storage. Its 3x optical zoom brings a smaller area closer, while pan-tilt changes the viewing direction. This is an indoor plug-in camera, not a battery or outdoor model.

FAQ

Does E1 Zoom 4K need a paid cloud subscription?

A cloud subscription is not required for supported local microSD recording. This 4K version supports a compatible card up to 512GB, sold separately. Recording mode and retention depend on the settings, capacity and video bitrate; remote viewing requires a network connection.

Does its Ethernet port supply PoE power?

No. Ethernet provides the network connection; the camera still needs its DC 5V 2A power supply. It also supports 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi. Check network coverage and access to power at the intended indoor position.
