Samsung QM32R-T 32-inch interactive signage
The QM32R-T is a 32-inch Full HD commercial touch display for an information kiosk, retail product selector or visitor directory. Its capacitive touch surface and built-in signage player combine interaction and content playback in one screen. It is not a 4K television or a large classroom collaboration board.
QM32R-T reference specifications
Samsung’s Hong Kong LH32QMRTBGCXXK page and manufacturer QMR-T data sheet provide the following model-specific reference. Match the supplied full code and required software before deployment.
| Panel and resolution | Edge LED LCD, 1920 × 1080 Full HD |
|---|---|
| Panel-rate wording | 60Hz in the HK panel-type row |
| Touch | Capacitive touch; application compatibility must be checked |
| Built-in platform | Tizen 4.0 signage player; MagicINFO platform |
| Inputs | 2 HDMI 2.0 inputs, DisplayPort 1.2, 2 USB ports; RJ45 and RS232 control |
| Operating duty | QM32R-T: 16/7, not the 24/7 rating of larger QMR-T models |
| Manufacturer typical brightness | 400 cd/m² without glass, 300 cd/m² with glass; not a measured shop result |
| Mounting reference | VESA 200 × 200mm |
Touch content and installation planning
Design buttons and text for the actual standing distance, and test the intended touch application and content-management workflow. A signage operating system does not guarantee compatibility with every consumer streaming app, payment system or third-party kiosk program.
The 32-inch model is the important exception in the QMR-T range: Samsung’s table lists Full HD, 16/7 operation and no anti-glare treatment. Do not copy the 43/55-inch models’ UHD, 24/7 or anti-glare specifications. An 8ms typical panel-response figure, where listed, is not a measured touch-latency or input-lag result.
Allow for ventilation, service access, the correct mounting hardware and secure cabling. Manufacturer IP5X dust protection is not waterproofing or approval for outdoor operation. Coordinate the media player, touch connection, network security and software licences as one installation.
QM32R-T questions
Is this the 4K version?
No. Samsung documents the QM32R-T as 1920 × 1080. Higher resolution in larger QMR-T models does not change this 32-inch panel.
Can it operate around the clock?
The manufacturer rates the 32-inch model for 16/7 operation. Choose an explicitly suitable duty-rated model if the project needs 24/7 use.
Does it have anti-glare glass?
The reviewed QMR-T technical table marks anti-glare “No” for the 32-inch model. Assess the actual lighting and placement rather than relying on the larger models’ specification.
Project and collection enquiries
Compare commercial displays, browse Samsung TVs, and read the delivery and installation guide. A video wall or specialist commercial installation needs its own confirmed project scope; do not assume a domestic TV package covers it.
Confirm the exact model, content-management licences, accessories and applicable commercial warranty before ordering. Kwun Tong is for stock and collection only, with no demonstrations. WhatsApp Elechid with the site layout, operating hours and required quantity.
