Samsung Q65D 43-inch QLED 4K
Q65D is a 2024 quantum-dot LCD television with Dual LED, Quantum Processor Lite 4K and Tizen. It is an option for everyday programmes, films and streaming when you want QLED colour technology without assuming high-rate gaming or Mini LED backlighting. Choose the actual size and stand footprint for your room; the QLED name alone does not establish brightness, local-dimming zones or a full 4K120 input.

Motion and source compatibility
The reviewed size-specific tables accept up to 4K60 on HDMI 1/2/3. The 43/50/55/65 references list 50Hz; the 75 Peru reference lists 60Hz with a 50Hz note for Uruguay/Paraguay. ALLM, Game Motion Plus and HGiG are documented, but no VRR row is provided. A console’s 4K120 output cannot bypass the documented 4K60 limit. High-rate alternatives should be compared by exact model—not by assuming every Mini LED is 120Hz.
Quantum HDR and useful everyday features
The matching-size reference documents Quantum HDR and HDR10+ Adaptive, along with 4K Upscaling and Filmmaker Mode. Upscaling does not recreate missing native detail, and a picture mode is not a guarantee of perfect calibration. Dual LED and Supreme UHD Dimming names do not establish a full-array zone count or Mini LED backlight.
The 20W two-channel audio includes OTS Lite, Adaptive Sound and Q-Symphony. A compatible Samsung Sound Bar is sold separately; synchronised speakers do not automatically add dedicated height channels. Bixby, AirPlay, SmartThings and up-to-two-video Multi View are listed in the references, subject to regional availability and source compatibility. Confirm the SolarCell remote supplied; light or USB charging does not mean its rechargeable battery lasts forever.

These reference measurements describe the chassis and stand, not theoretical visible-screen dimensions. Check the cabinet width, supported stand positions, wall structure and bracket load rating. A narrow stand setting does not make a cabinet narrower than the television automatically suitable.
Use the 43-inch row for cabinet space and confirm the supplied stand. Viewing distance is a personal layout choice affected by subtitles and source quality; choose a comfortable seat for your content. Compare Crystal UHD, another Q65D size or a high-rate model by their documented features, not static price gaps or an assumed Q60D equivalence.
Streaming and everyday connections
Tizen provides the smart-TV interface. Apps, AI functions, language support and connected-device features vary by regional model and service region; some require a Samsung Account, internet access, compatible devices or subscriptions. Confirm the services you use rather than assuming an overseas app list or tuner provides Hong Kong reception.
Plan the 43-inch installation
Measure the actual cabinet, chassis and stand footprint, leaving space for cables and a Sound Bar. Check packed dimensions, doorway and lift access for delivery. Wall mounting requires the correct model-specific VESA bracket and suitable wall fixings; installation is a separate paid service, with arrangements and conditions in the installation guide.
Q65D questions
Does Q65D accept 4K120?
The reviewed tables document 4K60 on all three HDMI inputs, not 4K120. ALLM and motion processing do not change that limit.
Can the TV speakers work with a Sound Bar?
Q-Symphony is documented, but it requires a compatible Samsung Sound Bar and supported settings. The Sound Bar is a separate purchase.
Are Q65D and Q60D identical?
Do not assume equivalence. Some Samsung Q65D URLs use a Q60D handle; use the exact model code and matching-size technical table instead.
