A flat car battery on a cold morning is the reason to keep the SJP014 in the glovebox. It delivers a 12V 600A start current (1000A peak) for petrol engines up to 6.0L and diesel engines up to 3.0L, and doubles as a 10000mAh power bank with two 18W USB-A ports.

- 600A start current for most family cars: The 12V output gives 600A with a 1000A peak. Shell rates it for petrol engines up to 6.0L and diesel engines up to 3.0L.
- Two 18W quick-charge USB-A ports: Both USB-A ports support QC3.0 at 5V/2A, 9V/2A and 12V/1.5A, up to 18W each, so it can top up a phone between jump starts.
- USB-C recharging in about 2.5 hours: It recharges through USB-C at 5V/2A or 9V/2A and takes about 2.5 hours to fill. The housing uses V-0 flame-retardant rated material.

Will it start a large diesel SUV?
Shell rates the SJP014 for diesel engines up to 3.0L. For larger diesel engines, look at a higher-current model such as the SJP013.
