The RM7L is TCL's entry in the RGB-backlight war: the backlight itself is red, green and blue LEDs, with 1,800 precise colour zones on the 75-inch and colour reaching up to 100% BT.2020. The panel is native 144Hz, and it holds one card no other TCL in this batch has: all four HDMI ports are high-frame-rate. Hong Kong licensed, manufacturer warranty.

RGB Backlighting: the Industry's 2026 Battleground, and TCL Is In
Ordinary Mini LED uses blue LEDs plus quantum dots; RGB-Mini LED builds the backlight from red, green and blue - colour separated at the source, which is how the gamut reaches 100% BT.2020. LG and Samsung are on the same road this year (see our Samsung Micro RGB review), and the RM7L is TCL's answer, its 1,800 zones controlling colour as well as light per zone. The gaming bonus: the 288 accelerator works on all four ports (TCL names HDMI 1 through 4), so a soundbar never costs you a high-frame port.
Licensed Stock: Warranty and Reception
This is Hong Kong licensed stock: warranty runs through TCL's official Hong Kong channel (per our warranty policy, licensed sets carry the brand's own warranty - term as published by TCL Hong Kong), and the spec follows Hong Kong's DTMB broadcast standard, so aerial reception of local free channels is native and our installer tunes it for you.
Delivery and Installation
75-inch delivery with tabletop setup is $600, or $1,200 with wall mounting (bracket included); free pickup at our Kwun Tong shop, collection-only with no demo units and no side-by-side viewing. Next-day delivery, driver calls an hour ahead, no Sunday or public holiday deliveries. Details on the delivery and installation page. Frequently Asked Questions
RM7L or C7L?
Both are native 144Hz at 100% BT.2020. The C7L takes the brightness road (3,000 nits, 1,352 zones); the RM7L takes the colour-purity road (RGB backlight, 1,800 colour zones, 2,000 nits) plus all-port high frame rate. Chase brightness: C7L. Chase colour purity, or plug in many boxes: RM7L.
Is the 144Hz native?
Yes - officially native 144Hz. The 288 figure is an accelerator mode (288Hz source required) - though uniquely on the RM7L it works on all four HDMI ports.
How does the licensed warranty work?
Hong Kong licensed stock runs on TCL's official Hong Kong warranty channel, term as published by TCL Hong Kong.
