The Yaber V12 Moonlight White edition offers a light-coloured home-cinema body with a carrying handle and an adjustable gimbal. Hong Kong supplier Basco specifies native 1080p, licensed Netflix and twin 10 W speakers with Dolby Audio. It is a room-to-room film option for supported streaming without building the setup around phone mirroring.
A tilt stand is different from a ceiling-projecting gimbal
The local record specifies 30-degree tilt, not 90-degree upward rotation. Use it to adjust picture height from a suitable table; do not assume a bedside position can aim straight at the ceiling. The global manual recommends staying within ±15 degrees for autofocus and keystone operation. Keep vents clear and minimise digital correction to preserve detail.
Yaber's global V12 manual specifies a 1.36:1 throw ratio. As a global-model planning reference, that calculates to approximately 2.41 m for 80 inches and 3.01 m for 100 inches at 16:9 before correction. These are geometric calculations, not measurements of the Moonlight White edition. Confirm its installation chart and leave space for the body and connectors; use the throw-distance and placement table.
Netflix on Linux, with service-specific checks
Basco specifies licensed Netflix on Linux; Yaber's global V12 page also advertises Netflix, YouTube and Prime Video. The operating system is not itself an app licence. Confirm the supplied firmware and specific services: the local Netflix claim does not guarantee every other app. For an absent service, a compatible separately purchased HDMI streamer may provide the playback path.
Phone mirroring differs from playing through a supported projector app. Services can restrict protected video even when photos mirror correctly; consult the phone-casting black-screen guide. Basco specifies Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth, whereas the global page describes dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.0. Check the supplied batch if the wireless version matters.

Practical questions
Does 800 ANSI mean I can leave the curtains open?
It does not guarantee daytime contrast. The global page also contains an 800 ANSI heading and a 400 ISO specification; no equivalence is assumed. Control room light and match the surface with the white-wall, ALR and CLR screen guide.
Can the handle replace an external power supply?
No internal-battery runtime is specified for this edition. Plan a mains socket and suitable power equipment; carrying convenience does not establish power-bank compatibility.
