The instax Link WIDE is Fujifilm's smartphone printer for instax WIDE film — the wide format, noticeably larger than the familiar mini prints. You pick a photo on your phone, send it over Bluetooth, and the printer pushes out a physical print with no cable and no computer involved. One thing to be clear about up front: film is not included, and instax WIDE film is bought separately.
Key features
A genuinely wide print area
Each print measures 86mm × 108mm with a 62mm × 99mm image area. Compared with instax mini, that is a lot more visible picture, which matters for landscape framing and group shots where mini prints crowd everyone together. Printing runs at 12.5 dots/mm (318 dpi, 80μm dot pitch) with 256 levels per colour (RGB).
Bluetooth transfer, roughly 12 seconds per print
The printer connects over Bluetooth Ver. 4.2 (BLE). Once paired, the time from sending the image to the print emerging is about 12 seconds. It accepts JPEG, PNG, HEIF and DNG at a processing size of 800 × 1260 dots, so HEIF files straight off an iPhone go through without conversion.
Internal battery, about 100 prints per charge
Power comes from a built-in lithium-ion battery that is not user-removable. A full charge takes roughly 80 to 120 minutes and yields approximately 100 prints, which is enough for a party or a market stall without carrying a power bank.
App collage and QR code modes
The instax Link WIDE app adds collage layouts, stickers and templates, and lets you embed a QR code in the print that links to a sound recording, a website, a location or a hidden message. All of that happens in the app before printing; the printer itself just prints what it is sent.

FAQ
Does the printer come with film?
No. The unit does not include film, so you need instax WIDE film separately, sold in packs of 10. Most buyers add a few packs to the same order to save a trip.
Can I use instax mini film in it?
No. This printer takes instax WIDE film only — mini and SQUARE packs will not fit. Check that the box says WIDE before you buy.
How long does one print take, and can I see it right away?
About 12 seconds from sending the image to the print coming out. After that it develops like any instant film, so leave it alone rather than shaking it or putting it in direct sunlight.
