The PartyBox 130 slots between the Stage 320 and the Encore range: 200 W RMS, a battery you can swap rather than replace the speaker over, and inputs for two microphones and a guitar. It is the karaoke-and-movie-night box for a flat or a rooftop, and at 11.3 kg with a foldable handle it is carried rather than wheeled.

200 W RMS down to 40 Hz
Two 25 mm silk dome tweeters and two 5.25-inch woofers, 200 W RMS by IEC60268, 40 Hz to 20 kHz at -6 dB. AI Sound Boost holds the bass together at high volume rather than letting the woofers distort.
A battery you can replace
The JBL BATTERY200 is a 34 Wh removable pack rated for up to 15 hours. Ten minutes on charge returns about 80 minutes of playback, and a spare pack (sold separately) doubles an evening. On a speaker at this price, a replaceable battery is the specification that decides how long you keep it.
Two mic inputs and a guitar input
Microphone input at 20 mV RMS, guitar at 100 mV RMS, plus 3.5 mm aux at 355 mV, optical and USB. Optical in is the one that makes it a television speaker for a movie night. No microphone is included — the mics are sold separately.
Bluetooth 6.0 with Auracast, and the JBL One app
Bluetooth 6.0 with Auracast for linking more speakers. Control is through the JBL One app. JBL does not publish the codecs the PartyBox 130 supports, so do not assume LDAC or aptX from the Bluetooth version alone.

Who it's for
- Home karaoke, where two mic inputs and a guitar input matter more than raw size.
- Rooftop and terrace parties in a flat, where 11.3 kg can be carried down a corridor but a 20 kg trolley speaker cannot.
- Movie nights — the optical input connects it to a television directly.
- Not for poolside or beach use. IPX4 covers a spilled drink or light rain, not a soaking, and there is no dust rating at all.
- Not for anyone who needs to move it far. There are no wheels and no pull handle, only a foldable carry handle.
- Not for linking to older PartyBox speakers that use PartyBoost. Auracast is a different system.
Warranty and delivery
This is Hong Kong licensed stock carrying JBL's Hong Kong manufacturer warranty. The exact warranty term is stated on the warranty card packed with the speaker. Viewing is by appointment at our Kwun Tong showroom. Full terms are on the warranty policy page.
Non-TV items ship by SF Express freight-collect, with the customer paying the shipping fee, or collect free at the Kwun Tong shop between 11:00 and 19:00. Details are on the shipping policy page.
Frequently asked questions
Is a microphone included?
No. The PartyBox 130 has two microphone inputs but ships with none. The PartyBox Encore 2 and PartyBox On-The-Go 2 are the models in the range that include wireless microphones.
Can I leave it outside in the rain?
No. IPX4 is splash resistance — rain spray or a spilled drink — and the speaker carries no dust rating, so sand and beach conditions are out. For genuinely weatherproof, the IP68 Xtreme 5 or Boombox 4 is the right answer.
How long does the battery actually last?
JBL rates it at up to 15 hours, measured at moderate volume with the lights on their default setting. A party at full volume with the lightshow running will come in well under that — which is what the removable BATTERY200 pack is for.
Will it link to my PartyBox 120 or Stage 320?
Only if that speaker supports Auracast. PartyBoost-era PartyBox models do not link to Auracast models.
