Reolink NVS8 PoE NVR with a pre-installed 2TB hard drive: 8 PoE ports, up to 12 cameras, 16MP support, expandable to 16TB via SATA and eSATA.

Key features

2TB drive pre-installed: A 2TB hard drive sits in the SATA bay out of the box. Storage can be expanded to 16TB in total using the eSATA port, with up to 8TB per drive.
8 PoE ports, up to 12 cameras: Each wired camera needs just one cable for power and data. Hardware version N7MB01 can add Reolink battery Wi-Fi cameras for up to 12 in total.
Watch locally or remotely: Use HDMI or VGA to watch on a TV or monitor even without a network, or add the NVR to the Reolink app or client for remote live view and playback.

FAQ

Can I add more storage later?

Yes. Besides the pre-installed 2TB drive, an external drive can be connected via eSATA, for up to 16TB in total and 8TB per drive.

When it arrives: first setup and checks

Check the exact recorder or hub model, hardware version, package contents and installed storage. A drive-free model needs separately purchased supported storage. Follow its instructions for power, router and any required display connections.
Initialise the device using its manufacturer workflow, set a device password in your own account and add supported cameras. The same brand or an Ethernet socket alone does not prove compatibility.
Check each camera's date, time and recording schedule. Make a test recording, play it back and try exporting a clip. Retention varies with camera count, bitrate, recording mode and usable storage.

Back up footage before formatting or resetting. NVR and Home Hub setup screens and supported features differ.
