Samsung M75H 85-Inch 4K Mini LED Smart TV (2026)
The largest size in the M75H range: 85 inches with Mini LED local dimming. The positioning is simple — the least money that buys an 85-inch picture with local dimming, built for films, drama and sport. Native 50Hz, so it is not a gaming set (that job belongs to the M80H 85, covered below).
Price and stock
International version (Thailand market, model UA85M75HAKXXT), not local licensed stock, with the warranty provided by us (details at the end).
Three things to know before buying
- The refresh rate is native 50Hz, with DLG 120Hz. DLG is not native 120Hz — it is a display mode that halves vertical resolution to double the refresh rate. For films and drama, this set's actual job, it changes nothing. (Worth knowing: the 43 and 50-inch M75H have no DLG at all; the 85 does — we check every size before writing.)
- All three HDMI ports cap at 4K 60Hz (official wording: 4K 60 Hz for HDMI 1/2/3). ALLM and VRR are officially listed, so casual console play is fine — but for 4K 120Hz gaming go straight to the M80H 85-inch, which is native 100Hz with HDMI inputs that accept 4K 144Hz.
- HDR is Mini LED HDR plus HDR10+ Support. HLG is not listed officially, and neither Dolby Vision nor Dolby Atmos appears — we write what the sheet says, nothing more.
Picture
| Backlight | Mini LED with local dimming — precision ordinary LED sets at this price cannot match |
| Resolution | 3840 × 2160 (4K UHD) |
| Refresh rate | Native 50Hz · DLG 120Hz (not native; trades vertical resolution for refresh) |
| Processor | Mini LED Processor 4K with 4K upscaling |
| HDR | Mini LED HDR, HDR10+ Support (HLG not listed officially) |
| Colour / motion | Colour Booster · Motion Xcelerator |
Will 85 inches fit your home?
By the 4K one-arcminute limit, pixels vanish from 1.7 m; the cinema range (40° to 30° viewing angle) is roughly 2.6 to 3.5 m — and Hong Kong living rooms typically seat you 2.5 to 3.5 m from the TV wall, squarely in range. What actually needs measuring is the console and the route in: with the stand this set needs 1890 mm of width and 326 mm of depth. Measure the lift door and stair turns before ordering.
Sound
| Output | 20W, 2 channels |
| Soundstage | OTS Lite object-tracking sound — a virtual stage, not a surround system |
| With a soundbar | Q-Symphony — a picture this size deserves one |
System: One UI Tizen, with 7 years of OS upgrades stated officially
The operating system is One UI Tizen, with the mainstream apps — Netflix, YouTube and the rest. Samsung's official specification states verbatim: "One UI Tizen will support Tizen OS upgrades for next seven years" — seven years of upgrades, their words, not ours. Voice control is Bixby (the sheet marks Google Assistant as "SG Only", so we do not sell it as a feature).
Connections
| HDMI | 3 (all capped at 4K 60Hz; eARC supported) |
| USB | 1 (USB-A) |
| Network | Wired LAN · Wi-Fi 5 · Bluetooth 5.3 |
| Broadcast | DVB-T2 digital tuner, per the official specification |
| Gaming | ALLM · VRR officially listed (note the 4K 60Hz HDMI ceiling) |
Hong Kong free-to-air reception: local broadcasting uses DTMB, while this international version officially lists DVB-T2. WhatsApp us before buying and we will answer for this exact model; the myTV SUPER and ViuTV apps also carry local content.
Body
| Without stand | 1889.9 × 1083.5 × 77 mm |
| With stand | 1889.9 × 1132.8 × 326 mm |
| Weight | 28.7 kg without stand · 29.2 kg with stand |
| Wall mount | VESA 400 × 300 |
| Colour | Titan Black body · TitanGray stand |
| Power | 270W max · 151W typical · 0.5W standby |
Delivery and installation
At 85 inches, delivery with stand installation is HK$800 and wall mounting HK$1,500 (bracket included, nothing added on the day). Walk-ups add HK$100 per floor. At 28.7 kg this is absolutely not a set to mount yourself — leave it to us. Showroom collection in Kwun Tong is free; the showroom holds stock for collection only. Full terms on the delivery and installation page.
M75H 85 or M80H 85? One question settles it
Do you game? Yes — choose the Samsung M80H 85-inch (HK$17,980, in stock): native 100Hz, DLG 240Hz, HDMI inputs accepting 4K 144Hz, every figure verified by us. No — this M75H 85 is built for you, and the difference pays for a soundbar.
Tighter budget: the Samsung Q7F 85-inch QLED (HK$10,980, in stock) — QLED quantum dots, but without Mini LED local dimming.
Every 85-inch model is in the 85-inch collection, every Mini LED model in the Mini LED collection, and for gaming see the gaming range.
Warranty
International version, not local licensed stock, with the warranty provided by us: free on-site inspection and repair within three years, with any parts replacement quoted separately — the quote comes first and work proceeds only after you confirm. Full terms on the international-version warranty policy.
Frequently asked questions
Is this a 120Hz TV?
No. The official specification is native 50Hz with DLG 120Hz — a display mode that halves vertical resolution to double the refresh rate, which is not the same as native 120Hz. For films and drama it makes no difference; for genuine high-refresh gaming, see the M80H 85-inch.
Can I connect a PS5?
Yes — ALLM and VRR are officially listed, and casual play works fine. But all three HDMI ports cap at 4K 60Hz, so 4K 120Hz is not possible. If gaming is the main use, the M80H 85-inch is the right choice.
Will it receive Hong Kong free-to-air channels?
This international version officially lists a DVB-T2 tuner, while Hong Kong broadcasts DTMB. WhatsApp us before buying and we will answer for this exact model; the myTV SUPER and ViuTV apps also carry local content.
Is 85 inches too big?
Usually not. At 4K, pixels vanish from 1.7 m and the cinema range is 2.6 to 3.5 m — where most Hong Kong living rooms already sit. Measure the console (1890 mm wide, 326 mm deep with the stand) and the route in — send us photos on WhatsApp if unsure.
Is the "7 years of OS upgrades" real?
Samsung's official specification states verbatim: "One UI Tizen will support Tizen OS upgrades for next seven years." That is Samsung's commitment, quoted as written.
