LG G6 97-inch is a 2026 4K OLED evo TV with self-lit pixel control, Alpha 11 AI Processor 4K Gen 3 with Dual AI Engine and webOS 26. The 97-inch model is a distinct large-screen option: its maximum VRR is 120Hz and its brightness feature is Brightness Booster, not the smaller G6’s Ultra presentation.
The specifications use LG’s Hong Kong97-inch OLED97G6PCA references. Confirm the complete supplied regional model and included accessories; reference data does not establish interchangeable tuners, apps or box contents.

OLED picture, processing and care
OLED pixels emit their own light and can switch off in dark areas, without an LCD backlight. Dolby Vision, HDR10 and HLG are useful when your content and player or app supply the format. Alpha 11’s upscaling and tone mapping process the available source; they do not reconstruct detail absent from a low-quality stream or guarantee a particular brightness in every room. Reflections and picture settings still matter.
Long periods of static logos, game HUDs or signage create image-retention risk. Follow LG’s panel-care instructions and do not treat mixed viewing or protective functions as a burn-in guarantee. Built-in Dolby Atmos and AI virtual sound are not physical overhead speakers. WOW Orchestra requires compatible external equipment; it is not universal Sound Bar support.
Gaming and connection planning
The reference panel is native 120Hz, with VRR up to 120Hz. Do not transfer 165Hz from smaller G6 sizes to 97 inches.4K120 requires a supported game, source, cable and settings. A published0.1ms pixel response is not television input lag. A Sound Bar on HDMI 2 eARC occupies one input; count consoles, a disc player and a set-top box before planning connections. QMS does not guarantee that every source change avoids a black screen.
webOS 26 app, AI/voice and upgrade availability depends on the regional model and service. Accounts, internet access and subscriptions may be required. For Hong Kong aerial channels, the HK reference lists DTMB; reception still depends on the aerial system, coverage and channel scanning.
Placement, stand and mounting checks
The 97-inch HK reference body is 2155×1230×28.2mm and 57kg without stand. Its carton is 2365×1530×335mm and 95kg gross: use the carton for lift/door/corridor planning, not the screen diagonal. VESA is 600×400mm, and any wall installation needs structural fixings, suitable load rating and service clearance. A listed stand dimension does not prove that the stand or wall mount is included. Confirm box contents and paid installation requirements; chassis depth alone does not establish a flush wall fit.
