RDPF-1028C is for people who want a simple photo frame with no app, no account and no Wi-Fi to set up. Copy photos, music or videos onto an SD card or USB drive, plug it in, and the slideshow starts. The 10.1-inch 1280 x 800 IPS screen sits in a slim frame with a fold-out stand, and a 21-key remote handles playback, volume and rotation. It also shows a clock and calendar and can switch itself on and off on a timer. Note that it has no built-in storage, so a card or USB drive is needed.
Key features
Plug and play, no app needed
There is no Wi-Fi and no app: insert an SD card or USB flash drive and the frame plays what is on it. That keeps set-up simple for older relatives, and your photos never leave the card. Because the frame has no internal memory, a card or drive has to stay plugged in.
Remote control included
The 21-key remote controls volume, photo rotation, power and playback, so you can change what is showing from the sofa. Photos can play in order or at random, with background music at the same time.
Photos, music and video
Besides slideshows, it plays music and video through two 2 W speakers, and there is a headphone jack for private listening. The 10.1-inch IPS panel has a 16:10 shape and a 178-degree viewing angle, with adjustable brightness.
Clock, calendar and timer
The frame can show a clock and calendar, set an alarm, and turn itself on and off at set times. A gravity sensor turns photos upright when you stand it in portrait, and it can also hang on the wall.

Can I send photos from my phone?
No. This model has no Wi-Fi or app. Copy your photos to an SD card or USB flash drive on a computer, then plug it into the frame.
