65 inch is the size most Hong Kong living rooms settle on. Large enough to feel cinematic, still small enough to fit a normal flat without dominating it — which is why it outsells every other size we stock. That's a sevenfold price spread for the same screen size, so the useful question isn't "which 65 inch TV" — it's "how much TV do I actually need". The tables below are arranged by budget, with what you gain at each step. All prices shown are the 65 inch price.
Under HK$5,000 — Entry-Level 4K
Direct-lit LED or basic QLED panels, 60Hz, Google TV or Tizen. Good for daytime viewing, streaming and casual sport. Blacks go grey in a dark room and motion isn't fast enough for serious gaming — but the picture is 4K and the screen is the same size as everything else here.
QLED at this money, with Dolby Vision and Atmos — licensed
HK$5,000–7,000 — The Sweet Spot
This is where most people should be looking. Proper quantum dot or Mini LED panels, 120Hz, real HDR and real gaming features. The picture-quality jump from the tier above is much larger than the jump from here to HK$12,000.
Samsung and LG models are international versions — 10-day exchange plus 3-year on-site warranty (three years of free on-site checking and repair; replacement parts are charged separately). The TCL, Skyworth, Hisense and Toshiba sets are Hong Kong licensed stock with the brand's own factory warranty — both schemes are in the warranty policy. Which One Should You Actually Buy?
Bright living room, curtains open all day — Samsung M70H/M75H (HK$6,480). Mini LED puts brightness where OLED can't compete, and 2026 brought it down to this money.
Films, dark room, black levels matter most — Samsung S90F (HK$10,980, QD-OLED); for the top of the range, the LG OLED evo AI G6 (HK$26,800).
Gaming first (PS5, Xbox or PC) — Toshiba Z670NK (HK$8,650, 144Hz, licensed) or Hisense U7N (HK$8,990, 144Hz with a Mini LED backlight). WhatsApp us with your console or graphics card and we will verify the match model by model.

QLED, OLED, Mini LED and Neo QLED — the Short Version
QLED — a quantum dot layer over an LED backlight. Bright, colourful, good value. Blacks look grey-ish in a dark room.
OLED — each pixel makes its own light and switches fully off. Perfect blacks, best contrast, ideal for films. Less peak brightness than Mini LED.
Mini LED — thousands of tiny LEDs with local dimming. Much better contrast than plain QLED while keeping the brightness. TCL calls it QD-Mini LED; Hisense calls it ULED X; LG calls it QNED.
Neo QLED — Samsung's name for its Mini LED range, with its own picture processing on top.
In practice: bright room → Mini LED or Neo QLED. Dark room and films → OLED. Tight budget → QLED.
Gaming on a 65 Inch TV
For a PS5, Xbox Series X or gaming PC, the specifications that actually change how a game feels are 120Hz or higher refresh, HDMI 2.1, VRR and ALLM. Resolution and HDR matter less than people expect; input lag and frame pacing matter more.
Among the 65-inch sets in stock, real high refresh means two licensed machines: the Toshiba Z670NK (HK$8,650) and Hisense U7N (HK$8,990) both run 144Hz panels — headroom for 4K120 on console and 144 on PC. Actual 4K refresh differs model by model elsewhere (a "120Hz" line on a spec sheet is not always native), so WhatsApp us with your console before ordering and we will check the exact set. Frequently Asked Questions
How far should I sit from a 65 inch TV?
There are two accepted standards and they give different answers. THX's 40° guideline puts a 65 inch set at about 2 metres — a cinema-like, filling-your-vision position. SMPTE's 30° guideline puts it at about 2.7 metres, which feels more like watching television than being inside it. Anywhere between the two is fine, and most Hong Kong living rooms land there naturally. Closer than about 1.8 m and you'll find yourself scanning the screen rather than taking it in.
Is 65 inch too big for a Hong Kong flat?
Rarely. A 65 inch set is roughly 1.45 m wide — narrower than most sofas. If your seating is 2 metres or more from the wall it will look right. It's at 75 and 85 inch that flat layouts start to fight back.
What's the cheapest 65 inch TV you have?

QLED or OLED?
OLED for contrast and dark-room film watching; QLED or Mini LED for brightness in a sunlit room. If your living room has large windows and you watch during the day, brightness will matter more to you than black level. Full detail in our technology comparison.
Do you have 8K at 65 inch?
Yes — the Samsung QN800C Neo QLED 8K at HK$9,980. Native 8K content is still scarce, so the practical benefit is its upscaling of 4K and the panel quality that comes with a former flagship.
Can I wall-mount a 65 inch TV?
Yes — all of these support VESA mounting. Concrete walls take the load without preparation; lightweight partition walls usually need reinforcement. Send us a photo of the wall on WhatsApp if you're unsure. Delivery and installation within Hong Kong can be arranged.
What does "international version" mean, and is it covered?
International-version sets are original manufacturer stock; the interface and features are the same, and the differences are in the distribution channel and bundled accessories.
