The Samsung M75H 50 inch is a step up from the entry size of the Mini LED range. Mini LED backlighting with Micro Dimming Supreme, the Mini LED Processor 4K, Pure Spectrum Colour and the slim Metal Stream design — sized for a bedroom or a small-to-medium living room.

Refresh rate: 50Hz native
Samsung's official specification reads 50 Hz. Worth noting: the 55, 65 and 75 inch M75H do list DLG 120Hz, but the 50 inch does not — so we will not claim 120Hz at this size. 50Hz is perfectly fine for films, drama and news.
All three HDMI ports run 4K at 60Hz. If you want 4K above 60Hz for a PS5 or Xbox Series X, this is not the set for that — see the gaming TVs. For films, sport and everyday viewing it is entirely capable.

Mini LED is the reason to choose this over a conventional LED set at similar money. Micro Dimming Supreme controls the backlight in zones, so dark scenes hold their black instead of washing grey — which matters most in a Hong Kong flat where you cannot fully darken the room.

20W across two channels is enough for news and drama. Dolby Atmos is not on this model's specification, so height effects have to come from a soundbar. Q-Symphony lets the TV speakers play alongside the bar rather than switching off — see the soundbar range.

On Vision AI Companion: Samsung's own regional list does not include Hong Kong. This is an international-version set and Samsung does not publicly state whether the feature runs on a unit switched on here, so we will not state it for them. If it matters to your decision, ask us on WhatsApp before ordering.

Allow 1.2 metres of TV unit. At 8.5kg one person can lift it, and VESA 200 × 200 is the common small pattern, so most standard brackets fit.
How far to sit
For a 50 inch 4K screen, the 1-arcminute criterion (D = 3438 × picture height ÷ vertical pixels) puts the distance at which you resolve all the 4K detail at about 0.99 metres. Sit further back than that and your eye cannot tell 4K from 1080p.
That distance is easy to achieve in a Hong Kong flat, so a 50 inch in a bedroom or a small-to-medium living room does use its resolution properly.

Warranty and provenance
This set is international version, not local Hong Kong retail stock. The warranty is provided by us.
TV warranty: free on-site inspection and repair within three years; replacement parts are quoted separately. Parts are quoted first and only fitted once you have approved the quote. Full terms are in our international TV warranty policy.
