The M75H is the entry point to Samsung's 2026 Mini LED range — Mini LED backlighting from HK$3,980 (43") — and it comes in more sizes than anything else in the line-up: 43, 50, 55, 65 and 85 inches. If you want Mini LED brightness and colour without paying flagship money, this is the answer.
Separate native panel refresh, HDMI input modes and DLG when buying for gaming. A DLG label is not proof of native 4K120, and an omitted DLG row is not proof that a size cannot accept a particular signal. For casual 60fps play, the console brand alone does not rule this TV out; for high-frame-rate play, confirm the complete size and regional SKU, resolution, VRR range and port before ordering.
For drama, news and streaming, compare the M75H's confirmed picture features and your room conditions. An optional compatible Sound Bar may be a separate use for the budget saved, not a guaranteed greater improvement than a TV upgrade. Q-Symphony requires a compatible Samsung TV/Sound Bar pairing and firmware.
Where the M75H sits
Mini LED replaces conventional LED backlighting with far smaller, denser zones, so bright areas can go brighter and dark areas darker. The M75H pairs the Mini LED Processor 4K with Mini LED Micro Dimming Supreme zone control, and Pure Spectrum Colour with Colour Booster. Mini LED can help contrast, but the Micro Dimming name alone does not establish physical zone count. Room brightness, reflections and screen placement still matter. Choosing between the five sizes
Size coverage is the M75H's biggest advantage. Pick from the measured distance between your sofa and the screen rather than guessing:

Those distances are the 40°–30° horizontal viewing angle band — closer feels more immersive, further is more relaxed, and anywhere between is reasonable. Typical use: 43 inches for a bedroom, study or compact flat; 50 inches for the smaller living room of a two-bedroom flat; 55 inches as the value sweet spot; 65 inches as the mainstream choice; 85 inches where the room is deep or open-plan.
Measure the actual viewing distance, entire TV and stand, cabinet support and delivery route. If choosing between two sizes, consider content, comfort and fit rather than automatically taking the larger one.

A missing DLG row does not settle 120Hz input support. Confirm the exact size's modes; use the model's VESA, weight and installation manual to choose a professionally fitted bracket.
Picture quality in practice
Bright rooms: compare screen brightness and reflections under your room's lighting. Direct sun can still wash out a picture; suitable screen placement and curtains may help.
Colour: Pure Spectrum Colour with Colour Booster flatters variety shows, sport and animation — anything vivid.
Dark scenes: blooming depends on physical zones and the control algorithm, not the Mini LED label alone. Compare dark-scene detail using matched picture modes before ranking this model against OLED.
HDR format availability depends on the title, subscription, app and complete device route. Confirm the formats on the supplied SKU and avoid assuming every streaming service offers the same fallback.
Gaming — please read this section
For each size, read the input-mode table rather than equating native 50Hz with the HDMI limit. DLG's maximum mode, input resolution and displayed raster need separate confirmation; do not calculate them from the DLG name.
In plain terms:
- PS5 / Xbox 4K120: confirm the complete SKU's accepted input modes
- PC high refresh: check resolution, VRR range and Game Mode conditions
- Switch, set-top box and disc player: check required video modes and audio route

Sound: budget for a soundbar
The reference lists 20W two-channel audio and OTS Lite. Decide whether this suits your listening distance and content; an optional Sound Bar is a separate budget choice. Q-Symphony keeps compatible TV and Samsung Sound Bar speakers working together, subject to exact-model and firmware support.

Hong Kong reception, stated plainly
Hong Kong terrestrial broadcasts use DTMB. Regional tuner, app and accessory specifications can differ: confirm the complete supplied SKU and reception route, not merely the label 'international version'.
If you rely on an aerial, ask for reception confirmation matching the complete SKU, firmware and your building's signal conditions before ordering. A set-top box or streaming uses a separate route.
If you already watch through a set-top box or streaming, none of this affects you — those routes do not depend on the set's tuner. Confirm the regional app store, model, firmware and account requirements for the apps you use.

Will the M75H pick up Hong Kong free-to-air channels from an aerial?
Confirm DTMB reception for the complete supplied SKU and your aerial conditions before ordering. DVB-T2 alone does not establish compatibility with Hong Kong terrestrial broadcasts; an external set-top box is a separate option.
Is the voltage compatible?
Yes. The international version supports 220V and works with a standard Hong Kong socket.
What warranty applies?
TV cover includes three years of store-provided on-site inspection and repair labour, with parts quoted separately. Sound Bars have a separate one-month store repair warranty. Exchange eligibility and other conditions follow the published warranty policy.
Is Mini LED worth it at 43 inches?
Choose 43 inches by viewing distance, cabinet space, brightness and budget. Casual gaming may be suitable if the required input mode is supported; an omitted DLG row does not rule gaming out.
What is the difference between the M75H and the M80H?
Compare the chosen M75H and M80H sizes by supported input modes, VRR, processing and current quotes. A high-refresh premium is worthwhile only if your source and games can use it; occasional 60fps play is a different requirement.
